could be plugged fuel filter Plugged fuel filter is a good possibility but if that's not it here's another. I recently had a similar problem (97 sebring convertable) where it my car would stutter while driving, ended up needing new plug wires as two of the old ones were failing intermittantly, causing incosistent firing of the plugs.
