3 MAYOR reasons: 1- Need more RAM(RAMDON ACCESS MEMORY) 2- DUE TO HEAT THIS CAN BE FIXED WITH A FAN (THE ONES YOU SIT THE LAPTOP ON TOP OF IT) JUST GO TO ANY PC STORE AND ASK FOR A LAPTOP FAN, COOLER. 3- YOUR BATTERY MIGHT BE DYING, WHEN LAPTOPS RUN OUT OF BATTERY POWER THEY WILL SHUT DOWN AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THEY REACH THE CRITICAL BATTERY POWER(USUALLY 5 OR 3%).
