Why does my Yukon front brakes intermittently not release Replaced rotors pads and had to crack open the brake line to retract piston?

Check to see if there is a steel bracket mounted to the flex hose. Sometimes you get a rust buildup which constricts the hose. Try prying the steel part of the bracket that wraps around the hose open a bit and see if that makes a difference.
