Why does my finger have a sore on it and is swollen even though I didn't injure it?

So many times you get penetration in your finger by very fine bristle from some or other plant, usually the xerophyte. Then usually you put your hand in water. Water will kill some cells in the vicinity. The bacteria flourish in such environment. Bacteria also enter along with the water, inside your finger. The prick by fine bristle gives only momentary pain and is usually forgotten. If you do not put your hand in water for some time, then this type of injury will create no problem.
