She may be afraid that there may be still something between the two of you, and that she may lose you to her. Sometimes it is jealousy, and at other times it may be that she is just very possessive in nature. Just try to understand her point of view. Many individuals would feel the same way. Be reassuring if you really care for her. Personally, if I loved someone and this occurred, I would break off communication with the other women completely. This is just a personal opinion.
OMG i just went thru this. my boyfriend actually broke up with me because im hanging out with my ex tomorrow. Basically my boyfriend told me that it was disrespectful and makes him look silly. He also said he doesnt trust my ex and he thinks that he still likes me. I think with your gf its true insecurity that she thinks your either cheat on her, begin to like your ex, or your ex will make a move on you. Its a really hard issue to go thru especially when i just went thru it. me and my boyfriend broke up because i felt he was trying to controll me and basically implied it's me or him. I see nothing wrong with being friends with an ex. yeah its a little iffy but as long as you know your not gonna be unfaithful then its okay.
