you will need to either
1. replace the clutch
2.tighten the throttle cable to hold the throttle open a tiny bit
3. the engine may not be receiving much fuel
be good ?
Sure. Just cut a chunk and let him nibble away at it.
" Let whoever earns the palm bear it "
An internal combustion engine is always "chomping at the bit" for more air, which increases the RPM of the engine. The throttle's function is to cut the free flow of air and only let a certain amount in, thus governing the engine RPM
Gloria says: "Oh rightly boys, let's go, I know that is right." Moto Moto says:" I don't want any boys dream, WOW"
I think you can,as long as you suck out all the petrol out of the tank and then box the hole thing up then they'll just check it and let it go.its all ways best to ring the airport before you go just to make aure
Shut the throttle. Pull in your clutch. Kick the gear lever down. Let out the clutch. More advanced: Shut the throttle. Pull in your clutch. Kick the gear lever down. Blip the throttle - let out the clutch.
that depends if they let you
The throttle position sensor tells the engine control module what you are doing with the throttle as you drive. If you let your foot off of the accelerator pedal the throttle position sensor sends that information to the engine control module and the engine will receive less fuel and it will lose rpm.
I have a 1950/1 Airone Sport and understand from the Moto Guzzi GB club that the manuals/parts lists were not available in English. Sorry. If you find out different please let me know. barry@shifta.co.uk. Barry
Mettiamoci in moto! is one Italian equivalent of the English phrase "Let's move fast!"Specifically, the present imperative mettiamo literally is "let us put." The reflexive pronoun ci means "ourselves." The preposition in means the same in English and Italian. The masculine noun moto translates as "motion" in this context. The pronunciation will be "met-TYA-mo-tcheen MO-to" in Italian.
Keeps the engine from stalling when you let off the throttle (as when shifting). The dashpot has a diaphragm inside with a small hole in it. At steady throttle pressure is equal at both sides, but when you let off the falling manifold pressure sucks the diaphragm to one side. This moves an actuator which catchs the throttle and sets it gently on the idle stop.
