Why does my possibly narcissist boyfriend keep telling me he loved his ex wife and girlfriends but make point of saying that he does not love me - is this a lie or is he just a brutally honest man?

He says that to hurt you.
More importantly and more basic to the problem is that he says it because you let him. You need to speak with a professional to address your own problems and become a stronger person. First thing you must do is stop all contact with your "boyfriend". If he doesn't love you then he's not your boyfriend and he is using you. You have revealed an abundance of personal problems in your question. Get help. He is not brutally honest. He is an abuser.
