Because it is overheating the fan is trying to cool it down turn it off for a while or go to the menu

I dont know about the first part of your question (Did not understand anything) But your PS3 overheats when you play for 4 hours straiight and if you play for 5 hours straight you ps3 can explode! not into fire but it will explode inside and then it wont work again
