Fusions used to be quite popular; commonly used Fusion monsters included Flame Swordsman, Black Skull Dragon, Labyrinth Tank, and Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
However, Yu-Gi-Oh GX was the final time Fusions (the Fusion Elemental Hero monsters) were used often. Synchros have been introduced and replaced Fusions in Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds.
Now, Synchro monsters generally have way better effects than Fusion monsters, so people would prefer Synchros over Fusions. Also, you need the Spell card Polymerization, which you're allowed to have only 3 copies of. You're more likely to draw Tuner (which can be various monsters) than you are to draw Polymerization.
For any Fusion Monster, they can only be Special Summoned from the graveyard if they were properly Special Summoned to the field first. That will usually mean by Fusion Summon. There are ways to bring a Fusion Monster to the field without Fusion Summoning it. Cyber Stein is one, and Summoner of Illusion is another. Since these are not Fusion Summons (they are generic Special Summons), the monster was not summoned properly. If they are destroyed, you cannot bring them back with cards like Monster Reborn, and Destiny End Dragoon's effect is no different, it would be unable to special summon him back to the field.Only by Fusion Summoning him initially, is he allowed to use his effect to resummon himself after destruction.(If it is a Fusion Monster that cannot be Fusion Summoned at all, like Gyzarus or the Neospacian fusions, then they are properly summoned just by following their text)
The red one!
Normally, yes, Fusion Monsters can be Special Summoned from the graveyard, if they were properly Summoned first. That usually means by Fusion Summon, or if they are a special one that don't actually use Fusion Summon (Gyzarus, Neospacian Fusions, etc) then these are considered properly summoned if you follow the card text.A Fusion Monster is not considered properly summoned if the summon was negated, or it reached the field in other ways. For example, Cyber Stein 'special summons' a Fusion Monster, but does not Fusion Summon it. That monster would be unable to be revived from the graveyard when it dies.Lastly, some say "cannot be special summoned except by" and the except by bit means that's the only way they can ever be special summoned, so monsters like this (Dark Paladin, etc) may not be special summoned from the graveyard even if it was properly Fusion Summoned initially.
The games are the same on both pocket and psp. It could be because you play one game system more than the other.
time has passed since the first yugioh series. for example:yugioh GX was made 10 yrs after the first one and yugioh 5d's...well i dunno how long it was after GX
Yes, but you have to have the fusion elements.
there isn't one
No one thinks so I guess. But in Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Yubel fused the three Sacred Beast in episode 130
No one card can Special Summon any Fusion Monster. Because some Fusion Monsters specify that they "cannot be Special Summoned except by a Fusion Summon", cards like "Metamorphosis" will not be able to Special Summon them. Even "Instant Fusion" cannot Special Summon Fusion Monsters that state "This card can only be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by returning the above cards you control to the Deck."
no artificial discs! my mom had one in her back and it slipped and she had to rush for an emergency surgery and then had fusion, which is fine.

Get Sanga of the thunder, Kazejin, and Suijin all at level 3. then, go into a stage with all three and summon them. When they are all summoned, scroll to one of them and select fusion. Then you will have the mighty Gate Guardian.
