In the old days, people who presented any matter, article, invention, story, essay etc., followed good skill of writing with high style English without any grammer mistake and spelling mistake. They presented the matter in papers either in writing or in typing.

After invention of telegram, the messages sent through telegrams were shortened to save money.

After invention of cellular phone, messaging of matters become very familiar and for easy and quick preparation of messages, words were shortened and hence spelling mistakes and grammer mistakes arose. Similarly normal conversation between people also shrinked. For example, in olden days any person who meets another person asks questions like "How are you?". But now the three words are spelt as "Hai".

What language was the 1611 king James version written in?

It was written in a version of English that is now called old modern English. As a rough guide: any English that you can actually read is modern English. If it's a bit difficult to read it's old modern English. Shakespeare too wrote in old modern English but it wasn't old when he was writing. Obviously. Remember that Shakespeare was writing to please the masses and he had much the objectives and pressures as any present day scriptwriter. The committee that translated the King James Bible were trying to make the word of God available to all English speakers. There is also middle English e.g. Chaucer. and Old English or Anglo Saxon which the English developed from about 500 to 1100AD. Then it gradually evolved to Middle English.

Common characteristics of Old English literature include the use of alliteration, kennings, and epic themes such as heroism and fate. Old English literature often focused on religious and moral themes, with a strong emphasis on oral storytelling. In contrast, modern English literature tends to be more diverse in themes and styles, reflecting a wider range of perspectives and experiences. Modern literature also incorporates more complex narrative structures and explores a broader range of social issues. Additionally, modern English literature is typically written in a more standardized form of the language, making it more accessible to contemporary readers.
