Physics is useful because it provides understanding and guidance on the production and management of energy. Energy is the staff of life for living beings. allsocieties live off managing energy. Some societies have light uses of energy, and other socities have heavy uses of energy. Useable energy is excpensisve and has side effects on our environment.

The by produxct of using energy can be toxic to life and dangerous to socities.

Physics is a discipline that is useful in the management of energy.

Would taking A-level statistics be useful for university physics?

Statistics are not used all that much in college physics courses, though stats definitely is useful for many other things and I would recommend taking it anyway. It depends what your choices are and what your intention is as far as a college major. If your primary concern is preparing yourself for a college physics course, your best bet would be to strengthen your math skills (through calculus), and obviously take any physics offered in high school.

What qualification do you need to be an astronomer?

You need a degree in physics and mathematics. If you have a degree in chemistry, that could be very useful and also contribute to the job. If you go to college or university you could study physics, astronomy or astrophysics which teaches the physical and astronomical facts about the universe. To get an advanced qualification, you could get a doctorate in physics (PhD).

How is physics useful in human life?

Physics is useful in human life as it provides a foundation for understanding how the world works, from the behavior of light and sound to the movement of objects. This knowledge is applied in various industries like technology, engineering, and medicine to develop new innovations and improve existing systems. Additionally, physics principles help in solving real-world problems, such as designing sustainable energy sources and predicting natural phenomena like earthquakes.
