∙ 10y agoIt is slow in part because of the fact that too many people are using the servers at the same time. Priority usage of the servers is given to members, so members play a version of Poptropica that loads faster.

∙ 11y agoMany of the scenes on the newer islands have too much graphic illustration for slower computers, and even on fast ones, the scene or characters may take a few seconds to properly display. The overloading is also visible in the opening scene of Zomberry Island when the searchlights shine on the tunnel.
