maybe provelone cheese was made with a different milk
Because provolone has a higher whey content, it makes it more likely to mould. Harder cheeses mould slower (generally) as they are too acidic for mould to form.
Mold grows on cheese faster when it is exposed to air.
I've found that provalone molded faster than any of them---Trick question: you may not be aware of it but bleucheese is pre-molded. When bleu cheese is being made, it is injected with mold spores. This is what causes the blue veining or spotting that is seen in the cheese and gives it the generic name of bleu cheese.
Mold on cheese is primarily affected by temperature rather then light, however scientifically light does create heat, so keeping it out in the sun would promote mold on the cheese.
Cheese molds faster in sunlight, if that heats it.
No. If you leave cheese out in the warm then mold will grow on it in a few hours. Bread on the other hand would take a couple of day. This is wrong! I did a project and grew mold on cheese and it took a week. Maybe the bacteria will start to form but you will not see it with the naked eye. Also it depends on the cheese, i did mozzarella, but if it was a really soft cheese ... maybe. But defiantly cheese will grow mold faster than Bread.
mozzerela
Cream cheese will mould faster than cheddar.
because strawberrys are friends with the mold and cheese isn't so fond of it. the strawberry has a history with the mold and is hoping... someday to marry it!
