well some food might taste like chicken because people think it is, then they eat it and it tastes like chicken. ---- Actually, "It tastes like chicken", is an old parental lie told to finicky children to get them to try different types of meat. I know, I was one of those kids. I had a very descriminating pallet. They tried the tactic with frog legs... Nope, didn't work, they had a flavor all their own. They tasted like, well... Frog legs. Rabbit? No. Squirrel? No. I learned from experience that nothing people told me tasted like chicken, actually did, except for chicken. I finally had it with them, after they tried to convince me venison was, "A new kind of beef". I found it to have a strongly bitter after-taste and it seemed to take forever to cleanse my palate.
There are several types of pigeon, and they can be prepared in different ways. They taste basically like chicken, but if they have been well hung their taste is much stronger. Imagine the taste of red turkey meat compared to chicken breast, and then intensified some more.
Of couse chicken tastes like chicken sometimes it tastes different depending on how you season it but it still has the chicken taste.

Fresh chicken is much juicier than frozen chicken.
No. It is quite common to bake several foods together in one oven, especially at holiday time when large meals are prepared. The foods will not take on the other's taste unless one food is extraordinarily pungent (much more so than chicken.)
No. The chicken and the covering over the chicken is deep fried in oil and fat. This added fat in the covering of the chicken makes the chicken very high in saturated and trans fats, which contribute to weight gain and, if too much is eaten, obesity.
Buttermilk is often used as a marinade or as a tenderizing agent for chicken. Personally, I like to fry chicken using buttermilk instead of egg. I love the taste, its much crunchier, I find it so superior to an egg batter in every way.
