Simon suggests going back for Piggy out of concern. He has been left alone and is basically incompetent in terms of decision making and survival. In addition, Simon is the conscious of the group and demonstrates humanity, compassion and concern while the others are continually losing theirs.
When Piggy and Ralph propose to go over to Jack's side of the island to request his specs back Piggy asks Ralph if it is safe, then if he is safe. This is hugely ironic as they are obviously not safe. Piggy's death occurs in their visit to Jack's side of the island.
Ralph wants to get Piggy's specs back and Piggy wanted to kill Jack there and then.
Ralph defends Piggy from Jack when he refuses to help with the fire. Ralph argues that Piggy contributes by thinking and suggesting ideas, even if he is physically unable to help. Ralph recognizes Piggy's value to the group beyond just physical labor.
There are many ways to give a piggy back ride correctly. One must make sure that one has a very strong back in order to give a piggy back right and then one must put another one top of his back.

Piggy back seat are seat that are either together one row apart. I.e. Row 2 seat 15 and Row seat 15; that would be a piggyback. So if someone says a pair of tickets piggyback that is what that means, they are not side by side.

Piggy was killed by a boulder. Roger dropped a boulder onto Piggy, and Piggy was stricken by the boulder and fell 40 feet landing on his back.
Piggy is cautious and unsure about Ralph's decision to climb the scar, as he is concerned about the possible dangers and risks involved. He tries to dissuade Ralph from climbing the scar, suggesting an alternate course of action. Ultimately, Piggy's concerns are not heeded, and Ralph continues with his plan.
Ralph sees Piggy as someone who is good at problem solving, and often times he asks himself "what would Piggy do?" or something similar to that phrase.
