Burns hurt because when the skin is burned, the skin tries to get rid of the heat as fast as possible. It does this by all the capillaries opening wide (most of them usually aren't). But when they stay wide open too long, they rupture, causing further damage, and sometimes tissue death. Cuts hurt too, but the deeper the cut, the less it hurts. Most of the nerves in your skin are loacted along the more shallow layers of skin (this is also why a paper cut can hurt a lot more than a more serious deep cut). A deeper cut severs nerves...no nerves, no pain. Have a burn (or a cut)? Cover the area with a cool, wet terrycloth towel and keep it covered for about 8 hours, and change it when it gets too warm (you'll know because the pain will get worse as it gets warmer). This will often help to relieve the pain. Tammy F
Well its just like keeping your hand on the eye of a stove, its gets all red and its hurts sometimes it peel it depends on how long you held it on there. So same thing with a sunburn except with the sun its gets all red and it hurts and sometimes it peels it only depends how bad it is. And so remember always wear your sunscreen and be safe with your skin.
I think it depends on your skin tone and the amount of melanin you have... the lighter the skin, the easier you sunburn, the easier you hurt yourself.
Mineral oil won't hurt, but won't help much. Seek aloe.
Only direct sunlight, which could cause them sunburn.
because you hurt so much
I think it depends how bad it is. these days most people have sun spot from the harsh radiation from the sun so 1 or 2 days WITH sunblock. Sunburns hurt bad. trust me i saw my relatives get a sunburn and it was not pretty!
The top of your head might hurt when you touch it because it has been bruised by hitting it on something. It is also possible to get a sunburn on the top of your head, and that will also make it hurt.
It is not so much the total sun exposure that seems important, rather it is the history of sunburn, (especially if severe or at an early age), that correlates with the increased risk.
the way u walk on it makes it hurt
Too much sun
When you have Sunburn, the best thing to do is buy some 'After Sun Lotion' and apply it to where necessary. Before doing this, bathe your arm in cold milk, and it should stop the pigments of your skin from peeling. Hope this helps!
Because you are unfit.
My fealings are hurt, I am crushed.
