One of 2 things. 1- Could be the Oil pump that is faulty 2- There is a 'switch' on the oil pump that could go faulty as well, which needs to be replaced.
take your foot off the gas pedal.
plug the seatbelt in.. the warning stops then ;-)
have you checked the bulbs and fuses

i have a corsa C 1.2 sxi and have done just short of 40 miles town driving whils petrol light is on. however you have to remember that the needle moves depending whether you are going up or down hill! so dont be caught out!
It is the same as turning any other warning light you need a diagnostics computer
I have opel corsa 2004, is buring oil, checked with JOe Duffy they says perfect no complaint but its oil level is reducsing serioulsy
it may be a loose connection on the back lights give a good firm push on the connectors
get her green corsa driving bich to run her over
Have the brake checked
A dirty fuel filter is one possibility.
