Why does the Oil warning light come on when the car idles but goes off again when revving or driving the car- have checked the oil level Opel Corsa 1.6 IS 2002 model?

One of 2 things. 1- Could be the Oil pump that is faulty 2- There is a 'switch' on the oil pump that could go faulty as well, which needs to be replaced.
