Why does the Shadowgun app keep crashing when you start it up?

Well, it just started today. I was there in the chat lobby when a lot of people were spamming. A user decided to freeze the game to stop the spammers so he did and the game froze, a lot of people restarted the game so they could play again. Later, the spammers came back and so he decided to freeze it again, all the non-spammers agreed to re-freeze the game to stop the spammers, then get back on again. That leads to how the app isn't working, something happened so you can't log back in because of what he did, and so it will crash when you try to start it up until the company workers fix it back up again.
