Why does the Sims 3 pets keep freezing?

Its usually because you have a lot more on one set. If you have a multiple stories, music playing and/or more than 4 characters, your PC is trying to configure all moves. It could also be that you have other programs open while running your sims game. If any of these still make it freeze you may need to delete some unused files from your computer. This will make all of your programs, whether games, music, or just Surfing the web a lot faster.

Sometimes when I am playing sims it freezes randomly even when it is not paused. I can still click stuff like the fridge and try to interact with it but they don't move and time doesn't move either. Also before that I couldn't get into the house it would just keep loading for like 15 minutes.

Most likely, too much running on your PC. ON your desktop, before starting the game, open the task manager and shut down any processes that are not needed. CRTL+ALT+DEL to get the task manager. Processes tab. be careful;don't shut it down if you don't know what it is. You can safely shut down anything to do with media player. The sidebar if you have that. They can be reopened as needed later. (For sidebar, just hit start, then type in sidebar, and re-open it). Anything else that's running,t hat you KNOW you don't need, shut down. Browser windows, documents, whatever. If you have antivirus, you don't have to shut that down, but if a scan is running, you might want to stop that, and run it after playing. If unsure what you can safely shut down, try a site like processlibrary.com. That should help. If not, you might need more RAM than you have.

Then basically , your computer wont accept it . There isn't really all that much you can do about it .

you have low memory on your computer..... get another few gigabytes
