Why does the Torque on demand check light flash on a 1997 Isuzu Bighorn?

I had the same problem on my 1999 Trooper. I had the Flashing Check light on the TOD panel AND the Check Engine light was on steady...Want to know what the fix was??? No $1000 speed sensor job...the wiring that runs along the drive shaft was corroded and exposed....I had some new wiring put in and TADA! no more flashing TOD check light and no Check Engine light! /Blair :shades: Because I spent a lot of time looking for more info, here is some I can share The lights flash for a variety of reasons, anecdotally most of these seem to come down to faulty electrics - wires , connectors etc. You need to read the the codes and then isolate the fault.
