It depends which armed forces you're talking about. It would be different between dictatorships to democracy and all the other forms of government. A few reasons I could suggest is:
- Patriotism
- Fear
- Money/jobs
- War simulation games (like Call of Duty)
- Prejudices
- Religious beliefs
- Political motives
In a lot of cases, it's simply the money a government will put into recruitment. People get brainwashed by ads depicting the army as a summer camp and the more ads = the more brainwashing.
Probably to keep the power with the people... so they could vote for the individual with the most influence with our military.
The Coast Guard is a branch of the US Military, so yes.
The Treaty of Versailles placed extreme restrictions on the size and the composition of Germany's armed forces, eliminated its overseas empire, reduced its size, forbade certain alliances and denied tanks, artillery, military aircraft and submarines to its armed forces. It also called for financial reparations that bankrupted the country.
Sure they did. The question should be did they work in the armed forces. i don.t think so but i could be wrong.
He left the settled provinces to the Senate, but allocated to himself the border provinces where the army was stationed, so giving him control of the armed forces.
The Japanese armed forces were attacking China
It was not so much one person or many people who pressured him to do this, but it was the need to. He knew that a military that was divided would not be as strong as one that included everyone.
Americans celebrate veteran's to salute all who served in the armed forces. Americans also celebrate it because many people died while serving in the armed forces, so at the 11th hour of veteran's day there is a moment of silence. Americans also celebrate it because the day means a day of from work.

Yes, armed forces should be allowed to recruit in public schools because the government funds these schools and has the right to recruit in them. There is no harm in recruiting in public schools because there is so much about the armed forces not known by kids, and this is a great education opportunity to learn about the life and job of the armed forces.
The Answer is NO !! The Gazette Notification is only for Civilian Employees, as the same is mentioned in the notification that, it is applicable to those people who draw their salaries out of Civil Estimates . The Armed Forces people draw their salaries out of Defence Estimates. So one has to wait for a separate Notification for Armed Forces
I dont think so,but they r so sincire to their job.

You can not join Turkish Army if you are not a citizen of Republic of Turkey. If you are a male Turkish citizen, you are subject to draft, regardless of your ethnic origins. So you will join the armed forces, anyway. Things get a little complicated if you want to be an officer in Turkish armed forces, but you are not an ethnic Turk. The armed forced intelligence does a extensive background check to allow you in. I have not heard a single case like that. However Pakistani nationals are trained Turkish armed forces academies, if they are sent there by Pakistani armed forces.
Armed Forces Day is for active duty personnel, so no it would not. It would be an honor to see him dress for Veterans Day though. Certainly it is appropriate for a Veteran to wear his uniform.
The most effective way to keep armed forces at bay is to simply keep them training and active. Always keep at bay soldiers stimulated so that come call time they are prepared.
