Lisi Harrison chooses this title because the main characters Dylan, Massie, Kristen, and Alicia are in this clique. When Massie, (the alpha)dads old college friend moves into town, his daughter Claire wants to be in this clique. (just like everyone else.) Massie hates Claire and bullies her but eventually she makes her way into the clique. They have all sorts of adventures together at there private school OCD, including when the rich girls (Massie, Dylan, Alicia) find out that Kristen is poor and the only way she could go to OCD is on a scholarship. This story takes place in New York.
