The Bible talks about prophets raising the dead because people forgot that Jesus was just another prophet of God. Not the son of God or anything higher than any other prophet.
The account of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead is found in the Gospel of John, chapter 11.
The Bible does not say who was raised from the dead first by Jesus. chickennnn !!!
The Bible does not say that Jesus performed any miracles in the town of Bethlehem. However, it was the place of his virgin birth.
The meaning of forgiveness that is now replaced by the image of Jesus raising from the dead.
Raising the dead is not witchcraft. Raising the dead is not possible.
Biblically when Jesus brought deceased persons back from the dead, it was not "resurrection." The term the Bible uses is "raising the dead". In Christian theology there is a difference between the concept of resurrection and raising the dead. For example, Jesus' friend Lazarus died. This was full bodily death. It it implies he even had begun to decompose. Although the Bible doesn't provide a scientific explanation, the act Jesus performed is better categorized as "reanimation" of dead and decomposing tissue into healthy living tissue. As for whether or not these people died again, the answer is most certainly they did die. Although no such death dates are provided in the Bible, there is nothing that implies they were given eternal life in their reanimated bodies. Resurrection is an entirely different thing. When Jesus will resurrect the believers, their spirits will be placed into new bodies that are immortal, and can thus never die.
This statement by Jesus can be found in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 16, verses 31. Jesus tells the parable of the rich man and Lazarus to illustrate the consequences of not believing in God, even if someone were to come back from the dead.
No. The Bible indicates that Jesus' earthly father, Joseph, was dead by the time Jesus was crucified.
Lazarus
In the Holy Bible read John 11:21-43. It is about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, several days after he died. Also in Luke 8:40-53, it refers to when Jesus raised Jairus' daughter from the dead. Jesus Christ is our Messiah. He died so that we can have life and salvation. He was ressurrected so we can be born again and have new life through Christ.
The Bible is the only source of our knowledge of the actions of Jesus. So, if any people were raised from the dead but not mentioned in the Bible, then we don't know of them.
