It depends on what kind of crab it is. What kind of BS answer is that "It depends on the type of crab?" Give examples or just don't say anything!
First the crab picks up the oyster then inserts it into the crabs mouth, then the crab chews the hard shell until it has turned into a mushy substance later on the blue crab than swallows the oyster.
crabs are scavengers in the wild. I am assuming it is a hermit crab you are asking about. There are a number of crab foods you can find at your local petstore.
