Elevation
The temperature changes as you go up a mountain due to the reduction in atmospheric pressure with increasing altitude. This drop in pressure causes the air to expand and cool, resulting in colder temperatures at higher elevations.
There are a great many different changes that build up in the Earth's surface. The concentration of elements changes with the different layers and climates for example.
Mountain plates. when 2 mountain plates crashes together, they go all the way up and forms mountains.
To go up in the world.
If You Go To Ski Mountain Then There Up There Somewhere On Another Mountain
The climate changes dramatically as you move up a tall mountain. Climate determines the distribution of species on the mountain.

at the snow mountain. just go up the rope and go up the mountain (warning falling ice) if you go to the top u will see the statue of liberty.
Because, elevation affects both temperature and precipitation, the type of biome found at a higher elevation can be different from one at a lower elevation. For Example: Temperate forest, Boreal forest, Tundra, and Permanent ice. (forest by mountain, higher up the mountain, go higher and you reach at tundra, top of mountain is cold and precipitation is very different, so it's permanent ice) Hope this answers your question :)
That depends on the size of the penguin and the size of the mountain.
