Nothing, because the C.N Tower is basically a big lightning rod. So the lightning gets attracted to it.
Well some people think the CN tower is just there for decoration and Toronto wanted something to be remembered by. There is a lighting rod at the top of the CN tower that actually turns the lightning's electrical charges into energy.
