This commanly happens in rainy seasons. Due to moisture the computer monitor become dull(More in CRT monitor). You should avoid keeping any soft cloth near your monitor or LCD whatever your are using. This prevents accumulation of moisture near your monitor. Also you monitor should be kept in some area which a open and airy.
