In short ... poor design. The nylon gear that connects to the motor worm gear gets it's teeth knocked off. Replace this round gear with a brass or aluminum one. Do NOT let the dealer charge you for a whole motor assembly. I have seen the metal gears for about $45 on the net. Go to: www.bfranker.badz28.com/headlightfix. There's a free fix too, but didn't work on my 95 Trans Am.
To change the headlight motor on a 1995 Pontiac Firebird, first, disconnect the battery to ensure safety. Remove the headlight assembly by unscrewing the retaining screws and disconnecting the wiring harness. Next, detach the old headlight motor from the assembly by unscrewing it, then install the new motor by reversing the process. Finally, reassemble the headlight assembly, reconnect the battery, and test the new motor to ensure proper operation.
Well fisrt off you need a new motor which about $150 or more new and just unscrew the screws holding it and unplug the eletrical plug for it
Motor bird is not a compound word.
if its from a crown Vick then i would say it should except for a few minor things like pullies and the exaust manifolds may need to be swapped

The air filter casing is the engine compartment behind the drivers side headlight. It is inside the air tube that is attached to the intake throttle body.
Hot Bird was created in 1995.
Go to the animals catigory and click the bird section.
the bird keeps flying and if you click on it you get it.
You click the cat's tail (he moves). You click the bird in the hole (twice) and it comes out. You click the worm and the bird eats it. When the flower sprouts, click it to attract the rabbit. You click the owl to chase the rabbit and then ask you questions.
all you have to do is click on the bird and he will give you the key
This one is difficult....so heres a basic run down... Start with a 10MM wrench (not a socket). And a long flathead screwdriver. Roll your headlight all the way up with the knob located next to it. Use the screwdriver to push the support bar commign from the headlight off of the motor extension (located dead center of circular part of motor. you may need the flashlight here). after that the headlight will drop down own it own, nothing is holding it up. On the exact other side fo the motor you have 3 bolts retaining the motor to the car. get the middle and lower one from underneath, it's a tight fir, but easier than going in from the top. Get the top bolt from the top. Then you can tilt and angle the motor to pull it through the hole in the car. Then lift at an angle vertically out of the housing area. Now you grab the new one and reverse this procedure. make sure to disconnect the wires going to the motor FIRST.
