What you see is the sun's light being reflected off it. This is the same for any satellite. As it passes it first starts to reflect more light at you so it gets brighter, and then it starts to reflect less light and slowly appears to fade away. It doesn't have any flashing lights, which is how you know it is a satellite and not a plane. It is the largest man made object orbiting us, so it is the brightest satellite. You can see other satellites in the same way, brightening up and then fading away, but as they are smaller, they reflect less light back and don't look as bright.

Depending on where you are in space you may be able to see aeroplanes from space. On the International Space Station you are able to see planes, but they look like small dots.

The inside of a space station look like pretty much looks like the inside of an air plane. It actually resembles the cockpit in an aircraft.

The International Space Station and all satellites reflect light from the sun towards Earth. If the light is being directed towards where you are they look very bright. As the International Space Station is the largest object orbiting around the Earth, it reflects more light than anything else so it can look the brightest.

Right now there are no gyms in space. The shuttle and the space station have tredmills though.

it's metal and the colors are yellow and gray

Metal and a lot of crazy tech if you think the i-phone is good take a look at the ISS!!

If you look up at the right time, you can see the International Space Station arc across the sky.

Last time I was there, it had lots of buttons and knobs and there wasn't a lot of space.

Experiment with animals, look out of the window, see Moon, see Earth, want me to list everything?

They made the international space station, because astronauts in earth orbit, can do experiments and learn stuff, they could not do on the planet. They can study outer space more easily, when there are no clouds blocking the view. They can look down at the earth and study pollution and weather much better from outer space. A space station has more room than the 3rd stage of a Saturn V moon rocket that was used for the Skylab space station in 1973. Having people in orbit offers many opportunities that being earth bound does not.

Think. When you light a match. fire occurs. For fire to breath it needs oxygen(air). Is there oxygen in the International Space Station? Is the International Space Station in space? Is there air in Space? If you look at the pictures of the interior if the ISS, the astronauts do not wear oxtgen masks, so yes, there must be oxygen in the ISS, and therefore matches should light. What i want to know is that because of the lack of gravity, does the flame extend in all directions, or does the hot air (i.e. flame) still rise as on earth?

At night, you can see:-- The Moon-- The International Space Station-- The Space Shuttle, during a mission-- The Hubble Space TelescopeFor any one of them, you have to know the proper time and direction to look.

A space station doesnt have any moons because it is man-made. See the link below. A space station orbits the earth or another planet with a much larger mass; it cannot have a moon unless you manage to get a rock to orbit one, which is highly unlikely.Look up international space station on Wikipedia, and it will describe what it is and what it does. For example, it has a mass large enough to attract another mass to orbit it.

You can see some of them if you know when and where to look. A few of them, like the International Space Station, are actually extremely bright (it can, under good conditions, be noticeably brighter than anything in the sky other than the Sun and Moon).

There are literally thousands of man made objects in space, such as parts of old space rockets sent up by Russia, China, Europe and the USA etc, lots of military and civilian satellites used for communication, navigation, research and reconnaissance, space probes sent to explore planets like Mars, the Hubble Space Telescope used to look deep into space and the International Space Station.

Since there is no gravity to hold astronauts in their beds they have to sleep in zipped up sleeping bags that are strapped to the inside of the space station, space shuttle or whatever they are in.

roll down the window and look for a gas station if you run out of fuel

they look like your grandparents bathroom

well outer space look like great if you go there you will feel that you are in a different world

nothing. if there was none of it then how can you seeit.

so we can tell the weather and see the stars and moon and the 8 planets in space and it also helps us to see what the planets and stars look like to make films out of them to make it look realistic instead of usin a piece of scenery.

they look like Eli prindles face

like a space needle haha google that and you will see it
