Go inside the house and peel the painting off the one on the top floor
You are looking for clues to "The Scream," the stolen painting. The artist on Main Street should have told you that the Chief Inspector bought a painting from him without a frame. Go to the second floor and peel back the edge of the painting there.
The painting is firmly tucked into the frame, except for one loose corner.
You will not see the investigator anywhere after you finish the security tapes in the museum. However, now that you have the key to her house (in the Country Side), you should find something there.
Once you have used the key to open the Inspector's house, go to the second floor, where a painting has one corner hanging from the frame. Click on the corner to uncover the hidden painting in the frame.
There is a chest in the house but it is only a distraction and can't be opened. On the second floor is painting that is peeling off its frame. Click on it to reveal the stolen painting.
remember the painter said that he gave the investigator a paint without a frame you look at the paint then you click on the part that is piled in the investigators house
During the first day he asks, "Do you like my work?" The second day, he just says "Bonjour." After you return from Early Poptropica with the key, he confides to you, "Psst! Recently I sold a painting to the investigator...but with no frame. Why would she need a painting without a frame? Very strange..." It is, of course, the painting hanging in the Countryside house. Underneath is the framed painting The Scream that was stolen. Later, he asks, "I wonder why the Black Widow never stole my happy little paintings?"
When you find the painting in the Inspector's house, the upper right corner shows that it is loosely in the frame. Peel it back to find the Scream underneath.
He means the black widow she only bought the picture not the frame to cover the portrait The scream
You first have to go to the curator on Early Poptropica Island after you receive a package which you have to x-ray. After you talk to the curator, you go back to Counterfeit Island which you go to the old house which is on the far right. But before you can get there the artist which does art similar to Jackson Pollock, tells you that someone bought one of his paintings without a frame which in the house you find the painting which is hiding The Scream.
the crook bought it to put over the scream, go to old poptropica and get the key from the art guy in the museum after getting the stary night and x-raying it, then go to the house and use the key to enter then go upstairs and see the painting find the cornner that's peeling back and see that the scream is behind it, you will be subdeued and that's as far as i have gotten
After you finish the scooter chase and get the key from the curator, enter the Inspector's house in the Country Side. There is a new paiting on the second floor, and one corner is loose from the frame. Peel it back to find the stolen painting "The Scream".
