Indicator switch probable worn out. Lever goes down to turn left & it's probably going down under it's own weight. replace switch!

If come from the front left corner of engine then most likely headgasket. (Main oil gallery is on this corner).
the water top up on 206 is at back of engine bay ,left of centre on bulkhead.

on route 206 go left and get the poke ball and then you will have hydropump(this is not correct)
if you open the bonnet it is at the top left hand side of the car. It is like a tray you pull out, very simple. This is for a peugeot 206 1.4 99plate
am having same problem with my 206. only mine is not just doing it in the cold but all the time. ive left it so long now that a whole new clutch needs put in. apparently 206 is common for this.... gd luck
