The RJ Law assumes that the amount of energy of being given off as electro-magnetic radiation for a specific wavelength depended on how many vibrations at that wavelength would be permitted within a cavity. Kind of like permitted harmonics on a vibrating string.

The RJ Law worked fine for explaining the amount of energy given off by long wavelength EM radiation, but it utterly failed to explain why there was a cut-off for short wavelength EM radiation. Max Planck came upon the solution to this, but Planck himself thought it was only a mathematical oddity. It was only later that scientists concluded that his solution -- that light comes in discrete chunks of energy -- was a reality and not a trick of math.

If you make Planck's assumption and apply the results rigorously, you find that, eventually, the emission of shorter wavelength (ie, higher frequency) light requires too much energy to occur.

Is An increase in supply is represented by a movement up the supply curve?

An increase in the supply is not represented by a movement up the supply cuve. A movement up supply curve is due to the increase in quantity supplied instead of the increase in supply. Alternatively, it can also be due to increase in the price of the goods that could lead to movement up the supply curve.

'une cuve' is a large tub or vat. It is typical for grapejuice to be let in such 'cuves' for turning into wine. 'la cuvée' is the quantity a large 'cuve' can hold and gave its name to the wine prepared at one time with the same methods (even though it might not be in the very same 'cuve').

Is Cuve Network a scam?

Cuve Network appears to be a Philippine based network that offers social networking, multi level marketing and a promise to increase wealth. The opening page of the web site offers little information about the opportunity other than the promise of additional income. A web site that promises money without setting out a clear description of what is required of the members might not be a scam but its promises need to be considered carefully.

How fast can a pitcher throw a curve ball?

I cannot name exact people, but as far as general knowledge, I've seen hard breaking curve-balls in the mid eighties. Pitchers don't try to overthrow a curve because the chance of it going wild or injuring their arm goes way up.

Can the Jonas Brothers solve a rubiks cube?

Solving a Rubriks Cube is not a measure of intelligence since some of the smartest people on this planet can't/couldn't solve one. I am not defending the Jonas Brothers but I do think that they could if they knew how the logic of a Rubriks cuve works.
