Why does the rear fan work and the front fan doesn't for heat in a 2003 Lincoln Aviator?

the first thing you should always do is check all fuses , if there all good , was thare any work done on the vehicle recently, if so look in the aria in question for disconected wiring or damaged wiring-unplugged connectors. if all checks out good, id consider the fan to be suspect.
