Joh 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Joh 1:30 This is the one I was talking about when I said, 'A man is coming after me, but he is greater than I am, because he existed before I was born.'
Joh 1:31 I did not know who he would be, but I came baptizing with water in order to make him known to the people of Israel."
Joh 1:32 And John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from heaven and stay on him.
Joh 1:33 I still did not know that he was the one, but God, who sent me to baptize with water, had said to me, 'You will see the Spirit come down and stay on a man; he is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.'
Joh 1:34 I have seen it," said John, "and I tell you that he is the Son of God."
This is Jesus' baptism as recorded in the gospel of John. John the baptist says in verse 34 "he is the son of God" he is talking about Jesus
Christ Jesus was created by God through the Holy Spirit.
Even though after his baptism, Jesus was lead by the spirit, and yes was tempted by the Satan.
The holy spirit came upon Jesus, and the voice of god said. This my beloved son in who i am well pleased. Jesus then went into the wilderness . lead by the spirit to fast and pray.
Baptism Lead to Salvation.
Actually, infant baptism is important to a small group of Christians. Most believers do not practice infant baptism because they hold that it is not taught in Scripture. Baptism is for penitent adults who are aware of their sin and appreciate the need for redemption.
Southern Baptists believe that baptism is an outward demonstration of what has already taken place inside. It is not necessary for salvation. Following Jesus in the act of baptism shows how a child of God humbles himself to his maker and has a rebirth of water and spirit.
Baptism is considered a community celebration as the church community has to come together to affirm that they will lead the child in the ways of God.
they do but they a don't if you read a bible story and believe it and you chose to believe in god than that's OK but the bible story only tells you what whoever wrote the bible thinks or knows happens but it is all up to you to believe in god . personally i do believe in god not because of a bible story but because of life events
Some believe that if they follow the actions of highly spiritual individuals it would lead them to the same destination as those individuals.
it's something/someone in the story that "tries" to persuade you into something for example: a clue in a mystery might lead you to believe that someone is the suspect, while they may or may not be
