on a lot of vehicles there is a restricter in line, much like on a fuel guage. You dont see your fuel guage move all around when your tank sloshes. I dont know where to find it but it may be your problem

What kind of speed does a speedometer show in a vehicle?

Acceleration is not represented on a speedometer, however, when you look at the speedo, if the needle is moving, you can get a rough idea of acceleration like this: If the needle is going clockwise (of generally indicating faster speeds) - you are accelerating. If the needle is going anticlockwise - you are decelerating. Speedometers measure speed. You would need an accelerometer to measure acceleration.

High acceleration temp gauge needle pointer goes down to low temp release the acceleration going back to normal temp?

Need to no more info, Year, engine size, what type of truck. It would help us answer it correctly. THANKS.

Why does temperature gauge needle move with acceleration?

during acceleration your engine is working harder and may cause the temp to go up slightly but, not much and, it should return to normal pretty quickly. If your temp is going up a lot and stays up you probably have a cooling system problem. First check to make sure you antifreeze level is correct. If not add coolant. If the problem persists you may have a stuck thermostat, a fan not coming on or worse case a blown head gasket.

What needle do you use in a rotax max?

Usually, within a standard Dellorto carburettor (With a 12.5 or 8.5 Venturi) , for a FR125 Rotax Max engine, a K98 or K27 needle will be used. The needles can be determined from each other due to the amount of tapering on it. A K98 has very little tapering, which creates a leaner fuel/air mixture, which improves acceleration, however using a K98 needle has a negative effect on the higher rev range (around 12,000+ rpm), as often not enough fuel reaches the cylinder, and you get a "coughing" or "popping" effect. On the other hand, using a K27 means that the needle has a much higher taper to it, causing more fuel to pass, which creates a richer fuel/air ratio, reducing acceleration, but improving high rev performance. Therefore we can conclude that the K27 needle is preferable at higher speed tracks, whilst lower speed tracks will be best suited by a K98 needle.
