Why does the world need movie ratings?

The World needs movie ratings so that parents know that if the movie is inappropriate for children or suitable for children if taking with them. Such as if their was strong language or bloody scenes and gore, the ratings would remind them that this movie included this. Telling them that this movie is pretty disturbing for young children. The movie Ratings are,

G- General for all audiences

PG- Parental Guidance Suggested. (Some material might be unsuitable for children)

PG-13- Parents Strongly Cautioned. (Includes content inappropiate for children under 13)

R- Restricted, Under 17 Must be accompanied by an adult. (Strong For Children)

NC-17- No one under 17 permitted. (Extreme Explicit Sexual Content)

X- Contains Drastic Measures of Strong Explicit Content. (Under 21 should be warned due to massive Sex and strong Scenes)
