Why does this website have bad answers?

There are many contributors and there is no qualification process required before you may contribute. This allows incorrect, comic or belligerent replies.

There are many steps taken to maintain quality:

1) There is a bot that scans answers and flags them for "gibberish".

2) There are supervisors who monitor answers so most bad answers get corrected in time.

3) Also, there is a method of flagging an answer as poor quality.

4) Flagged questions are brought to everyone's attention by the task bar on the left. This helps get problems corrected.
