Because burning fuel (coal, oil, gasoline, petroleum, diesel and natural gas etc) releases carbon dioxide, a powerful greenhouse gas, which is overloading the carbon cycle and causing global warming.

That answer is only partially correct. Yes, burning excessive fuel does cause air pollution but there is little proof scientifically that it has caused "global warming" alone in of itself.

Because the harmful gases (Like carbon monoxide) gets into the air we breathe

What are the three main causes of air pollution?

The three main causes of air pollution are vehicular emissions, industrial activities, and burning of fossil fuels. These sources release pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and particulate matter into the air, contributing to poor air quality and public health issues.

What causes 1998 dodge neon to blow black soot from exhaust?

burning to "rich", too much fuel. This is a result of an incorrect air/fuel mix. check fuel pressure regulator, Oxygen sensor (s), and maybe PCM.

What cause by the high level of pollution?

Automobiles, burning of matter and using of natural resources at an exploiting level cause much pollution.

Why fuel efficiency is important?

Fuel efficiency determines how much useful energy you get out of each unit of fuel. If fuel efficiency drops you have to use more fuel to get the same job done. And fuel cost money, so you'll also have to pay more to get the same job done. And burning fossil fuels contributes to pollution, so with poorer fuel efficiency you have to put up with more pollution being released for thesame amount of useful work being done.

What is one cost you have to pay for burning fossil fuel?

Burning fossil fuels releases lots of carbon into the atmosphere much faster than the natural carbon cycle. This causes excess carbon and greenhouse environments that can impact climate.
