The 5.7 liter engine in the Suburban is famous for bad intake gaskets. They use a plastic gasket frame with o-rings around the ports. These typically fail around 100k miles. And usually in the front or rear of the engine. I would initially check for a bad intake gasket. If that is not found then proceed to the head gasket or possibly a cracked head. Although the cast iron heads on these models very rarely crack.
