why did Orange Juice, milk and Diet Coke (liquids with additives) freeze first before pure drinking water? I made sure all these liquids started freezing at equal temperature, before placing them in the -2 degree freezer.

Wrong, water freezes before all of those liquids because there is more space between the molecules so the cold air can reach into the liquid faster.

It depends what other liquids there are. If the other liquid is less dense, then the other liquid will freeze faster, otherwise, water would freeze faster.

It is because different liquids have different boiling points. The weaker the intermolecular forces , the lower the boiling point.

It all depends on whats in the liquids and how thick the liquid is.

Liquids have different forms because when they get above a certain temperature the could boil or freeze.

Do all liquids boil?

No. There are liquids that boil at a few degrees above absolute zero (helium for example) and liquids that boil at several thousand degrees above absolute zero (tungsten for example)

Why does raising temperature cause liquid to boil?

Decreasing the pressure -APEX

How would you separate liquids if two liquids boil at different temperatures?

Distillation.

How you can calculate boiling point of liquids?

Boil it

Why do different liquids boil at different temperatures?

These liquids have different chemical composition and structure.

What boils faster water with vinegar or water with salt?

The liquid that would boil faster between water, water with vinegar, or water with salt would be water. I am sure because i did an experiment and i boiled these three liquids five time and averaged them. Water came out to be that it took the least amount of time to boil.

Do all liquids freeze and boil at the same temperature?

No.

What should you do to help liquids boil faster?

Use less water, keep the lid on, use a higher flame, use a thinner pot. Alternatively, use an electric kettle.

Does cotton boil?

Actually, you can boil liquids, and cotton is not a liquid. If you apply heat to cotton, it would burn before it would boil.

Distillation can be used to separate solutions of miscible liquids because ?

Distillation works because liquids boil at different temperatures. Roughly speaking, in order to separate two liquids, you should heat the mixture to a temperature where one of the liquids (but not the other) is past its boiling temperature. Then the first liquid will boil off, leaving the second liquid behind; you can collect the first liquid in a condenser.

What liquids boil?

Heat can make water boil, like when you put a pot of water on the stove on high!
