Windows automaticly saves the registry in order to create a restore point. In windows you can restore the system to a previous set up, and part of that process is replacing or removing changed registry keys. Without these saved resistries restoration would be much harder, if not near impossible.

you have to back up it by ur self mostly every week u must clean ur registry

You can either fix manually (if you have enough knowledge of the Windows registry) or use one of the various software, like the Perfect Optimizer. But in any case, I suggest you backup your registry before you make any changes.
