either you have a broken wire or wires i assume you mean the converter is not locking up can you tell if it is trying to example is the rpms going up and down as your cruising a t 60 mph. if it does then its your converter that is causing the problem to stop it from revving up and down at highway speed you can unplug the lock up on the drivers side of the transmission but you will need a new converter to fix it.
any s10 or sonoma up to 93 and any blazer jimmy up to 94

You should hook up the wires for a tach on a 1985 Chevrolet s10 blazer to the negative side of the coil. You should be sure to identify the positive and negative sides of the coil.Ê
If your brakes are locking up it is because the ABS is not working.
need to adjust head lamp on 97 s/10 blazer
They are lined up like this on my 1995 Chevy blazer 4.3 L, V6 1,6,5,4,3,2
Probably in need of a good tune up.
A defective catalytic converter can do that.
That would be a problem with the solenoid for the lock up converter. Start with checking the fuses. If the fuses check okay the lock up solenoid or wiring circuit is probably bad. That solenoid is located inside the transmission and can be reached by dropping the trans pan.
valve seals and or guides bad
