Defective blower motor resistor pack.
Blower resistor switch
You need to replace the blower motor resistor located near the glove box.
Bad blower resistor?
I just need the location of the heater & blower unit of the 2001 Nissan Xtera. E-mail flores-rene@sbcglobal.net thank you
On a 2007 Nissan Frontier, the blower motor resistor is typically located under the dashboard on the passenger side, near the blower motor itself. It is usually mounted to the HVAC housing. If the blower only works on high, the resistor may be faulty, as it controls the different blower speeds. To access it, you may need to remove a few panels or the glove compartment for better visibility.
Defective resistor pack.
change the resistor under passenger compartment held up in by 2 screws
If the blower motor in your 2000 Nissan Maxima only works on the high setting, the issue is likely a faulty blower motor resistor. To fix it, you should first disconnect the battery, then locate the blower motor resistor, usually found near the blower motor under the dashboard. Remove the resistor and inspect it for damage or burned connections; replace it if necessary. After installing the new resistor, reconnect the battery and test the blower motor to ensure it operates on all settings.
I changed the one in my car it's located behind the glove box just remove the glove box take out the screw that holds the blower sensor in place unplug it and install the new one.
The fuse for the cruise control on a 1998 Nissan Sentra is at the Number 22 spot in the fuse box. This is a 10 Amp. fuse that also controls the horn and steering switch. if the horn still works, check the speed sensor on the transmission or the cruise control module on the carburetor.
Sounds like the freon is low. Have it checked.
My son's '97 Nissan Sentra did not have a cable but a VSS(vehicle speed sensor). His odometer and spedometer did not work at all. We replaced the VSS and it now works. We bought the VSS for about $20 from car-stuff.com and my son and his friend put it in in about a 1/2 hour once they figured out where it was located. You will have to get under the car to do that.
