thats because some CD players aren't shock proof. by the slightest little bump the CD player wil stop for a couple of seconds.
shut off your CD player when it comes to that point!
The Orabge wire gos to your Brake Light+ if you have a rear view cam hocked up to the cd-player when you revers it comes up on the screen
you cut the yellow and black wire from the origanal plug and wire these from the CD player wire the yellow, red, blue, wire into the yellow and the black from origanal plug to black on CD player
If the CD Player will not read the CD then either there is something wrong with the CD or the CD player or the CD or CD player needs to be cleaned.

Check your starter, my 87 b2000 was doing that. when i hit the brakes,turn signals, etc the CD player would cut off and back on. it was the starter!
