Starter i located on the back of the engine - between manifold and driveshaft.
well the batterys flat, so it won't start, with or without an imoblizer
I also have a 2005 Laguna. And had the same problem.Turned out it was the battery.Charging it wasn't a solution.Changed it out and no more problems.
Your battery may be flat and could need recharging or replaced.
put the key card in put it in first keep your clutch down pick up some speed and let clutch out quick giving it some revs
When this happened to me on my seven year old 2.2 DCi laguna I had to hae taken in to the Renault dealers. It turned out to be the a problem with both the cam sensor and the fuel injection sensor. Both had to be replaced at a cost 0f £300 in all. It did cure it though! May also be TDC / crank sensor. Worth removing it and giving it a clean.
Unsure what you mean set? But if you replace a fuel pump in your tank, if fitted properly should pump fuel as soon as you put ignition on and start car.
my be the card-reader inside the car
With the ignition on, Press the end of the wiper stalk until miles to service appears on the dash screen. Now, press and hold the mileage reset button on the instrument binnacle for more than 5 seconds, it will start to flash. Let go This will reset your miles to service to the factorysetting and get rid of the flashing spanner ! Hope this helps a few people.
could be a starter problem. i replaced mine (1996 RT) a few times. its just the way the car is built. Most likely cause is a dirty TDC sensor, clean it.
can you start the engine of a 2005 renault megane with out key card
Try disconnecting battery for a minute or so and then try to start your car. I had the same problem on my 1999 1.9 dti. Or some of the older lagunas had little black thing beside sunroof, try to lock and unlock the car with remote and try to star your car then. Had this problem wiht 1995 1.8 laguna...
