If the car is filling with exhaust fumes, that is a health hazard, and is almost certainly caused by a broken or leaky exhaust pipe.
Check the Carborator Height. This can sometimes cause the Carb bowl to over fill, which sends out fumes. This was the verdict I found when mine smelled

yes unfortunately. I believe 2008 was the last year. I think Toyota is just letting the tC fill the market there while the Camry takes the place where it always been. so while I see the logic in Toyota's decision, the world lost a very good and dependable car model.
