S/he probably just needs more time! ;) Usually an older piggy with mother/father a baby-- accept the baby and care for him. They will usually hump each other quite a bit for a few days first. Give it some time. ;)
Actually, baby Guinea Pigs are just called Guinea Pigs, the same as older ones... They don't have a special name, like a dog that's called a puppy, or a cat that's called a Kitten!
I think. I have two female guinea pigs and they get along fine.
Yes, they do learn faster than the older ones.
you can certainly try, but look closely over the 2-4 days afterward. if the baby isn't going to the food or water, or if you see the older ones pushing it out of the way, then remove the baby instantly. if the older ones bully it for ages and ages, they will eventually kill it
a baby guinea pig is known as a Pup. (though never a puppy)
i had this problem too! i brought 2 big ones a few years ago and decided i wanted two other ones. what i did was put the 2 older ones on the grass and put the baby ones in a upside down washing basket. i put the baby ones under the washing basket so they could run around a bit and stick there noses through the holes. They were itching to get out so i let them and watched them how they go on. they are now like a little family and get on well. however it depends if you are lucky or not!!!
Tumors are actually quite common in guinea pigs, usually older ones, I believe. I doubt the tumors are always cancerous though.
Um, I've never heard that before but all you need to do is buy a baby doll,(at a store) and/or buy baby doll daipers-so you know they won't hurt you guinea pig. That's how I'd make a daiper for my guinea pig. Just go out and find super small ones :)
Baby blue dragons are located in Taverly dungeon, there is about 5 baby dragon's located there, along with three level 111 blue dragons.
Yes. But, the older crabs may bully the younger ones. And a larger tank would be a necessity.
All rats need to be gradually introduced to new rats before they get along. Get them out of their cage onto a neutral area, with no food around, and let them meet. do this every so often. It is normal for the older rats to show dominance over the younger ones.
Baby Rabbits are born naked and without open eyes. But,baby Guinea Pigs are more developed, they have fur on their body and are born with open eyes. Baby Guinea Pigs can stand on its own feet just after a minute unlike rabbits. Also, baby Guinea Pigs can eat some foods that adult Guinea pigs eat. But,rabbit babies are fully depended on their mother for food.
