Broken or disconnnected cable, something stuck under pedal,
modified cars
On cars with a carburetor you must press on the gas pedal to activate the choke, cars with fuel injection do not have a choke so this is not necessary.
ford did not manufacture a 6.0 in year 2000 maybe that is why gas pedal wont work
Many cars require you to press the gas pedal when starting the car. It's quite normal.
A car will move when the gas pedal is engaged. You can control the speed of the car by the pressure you put on the gas pedal. The brake pedal will either slow the car down or stop the car entirely.
Very similar to gas powered cars, the gas is taken in and causes the engine to make very small combustions, making the mower blades rotate, and in riding mowers, it is even more similar to cars, with the transmission, battery, clutch, brakes, gas pedal, and yes even the cup holder.:)
It's a reference to driving, esp cars from the '50s. The throttle is wide open when the (gas) pedal is fully depressed. With really old cars the floorboards are metal so with the "pedal to the metal" your accelerating as much as possible.
there is something wrong with your car
if the gauges do not work either then its a blown fuse. if not you may need to replace the pedal assembly
Usually, too many pumps on the gas pedal, especially back in the days of carburetors.
lolol. good question, the answer is that peoplewho drive gas powered cars are most likely to blow up when they crash due to the gas in there cars, sucks for you, hahahaha. kind regards hank
Newer cars, the gas pedal is connected to a cable that connects to the throttle control that tells the computer how much gas to put into the engine. Brake pedal pushes a rod into the brake master cylinder that forces hydraulic fluid to each wheel. If it has a clutch, it works the same as the brake, forcing fluid to the clutch.
