This is typical of a young hen who is not being careful. Young pullets ofter break their own eggs at first just by moving around but the hen who has laid the egg may not be the culprit All chickens will eat egg that is available from a broken shell, few chickens will purposely break an egg to get at the food and if this is happening you need to cull the offending hen as the others will learn this and you will get few eggs for yourself. One meal of chicken from the "bad" hen will mean more eggs for breakfast in the future.

food
A chicken lays white eggs which are the eggs that we eat in the morning.
It is probably not safe to eat chicken strips that have sat out overnight. Chicken can go bad after cooking quite rapidly if in a warm environment.
Yes and No. It depends on the chicken... either hen or rooster! Thus still eating chicken at night is OK to do. Thanks for asking this question ROBERT! ( I think your name is that )
no not every chicken does.
Any breed of chicken can lay eggs for breeding if they are fertilised.
Yes, it can be painful for a chicken to lay an egg, especially if the egg is large or if the chicken is experiencing health issues.
