About the Ex-girlfriend! No, I do not think that he wants to make you jealous! It's just that he has not yet accepted his ex's rejection. For in all likelihood she rejected him if he still pines for her. Inform him that you are not her, that you do not enjoy the comparison, that he should accept you for who you are and not compare you to his ex.
